Things to do in Lake Louise & Moraine Lake

The turquoise jewels of the Canadian Rockies

A favourite for honeymoons

Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are the twin icons of Banff National Park — impossibly turquoise, glacier-fed lakes ringed by snow-capped peaks, among the most photographed places on earth. Lake Louise has its grand château on the shore and easy lakeside walks; nearby Moraine Lake, in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, is the more dramatic of the two.

Turquoise lakes, a lakeside château and the Rockies — a honeymoon photographer’s dream.
