By accessing or using Wavvia ("the platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Wavvia.

These terms apply to all users, including guests (no account required) and registered users. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Wavvia is an AI-powered travel planning platform that:

• Generates personalised travel itineraries using artificial intelligence
• Provides safety briefings sourced from official government travel advisories and public databases
• Suggests hotels, restaurants, and experiences via affiliate partners
• Provides general travel guidance including sanitation, women's safety, and LGBTQ+ information

Wavvia is a planning and information tool only. We are not a travel agency, booking platform, insurance provider, or emergency service.

All safety information provided by Wavvia — including but not limited to country safety ratings, women's safety guidance, LGBTQ+ legal status, scam alerts, emergency contacts, and travel advisories — is provided as general guidance only.

• Safety conditions change rapidly. Information may be out of date by the time you travel. Always check official sources (FCDO, US State Department, your home country's foreign ministry) immediately before travel.
• AI-generated content may contain errors. Wavvia uses large language model AI to synthesise safety information — this is not a substitute for professional advice.
• Emergency contact numbers are provided in good faith but must be verified locally on arrival.
• Wavvia is not responsible for any incident, injury, loss, or damage that occurs in connection with travel plans created using the platform.

Never rely solely on Wavvia for safety decisions. Always use your own judgement and stay aware of your surroundings.

Wavvia uses large language model AI to generate itineraries, safety reports, restaurant suggestions, and other content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated
• Specific venues, phone numbers, prices, and addresses must be independently verified
• AI content does not constitute professional advice of any kind (medical, legal, financial, or safety)
• We do not guarantee that any specific attraction, restaurant, or service will be available

Wavvia earns commission when you book through our affiliate links (hotels, tours, flights, products). This does not affect the price you pay.

We link to third-party services (Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Amazon, etc.) under their own terms and privacy policies. Wavvia is not responsible for the content, availability, or conduct of third-party services. Any disputes regarding bookings must be resolved directly with the relevant third party.

Product recommendations (including hygiene, safety, and travel products) are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement of any specific product or brand. Always read product instructions and consult a healthcare professional if relevant.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when building your trip profile
• Use Wavvia only for lawful personal travel planning purposes
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
• Not submit false, misleading, or harmful content
• Be responsible for your own travel decisions — Wavvia is a tool, not a guardian

Wavvia is available to all users. Children under 13 should use Wavvia under parental guidance. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 — see our Privacy Policy for details.

When you share a trip link, that link becomes accessible to anyone with the URL for up to 90 days. Do not share trip links if your itinerary contains information you wish to keep private. Wavvia is not responsible for content viewed by unintended recipients of shared links.

The Wavvia platform, brand, logo, and original content are owned by Wavvia and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Trip itineraries generated for you are yours to use for personal travel purposes. They may not be resold, republished commercially, or passed off as your own original work.

Wavvia is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific information will be accurate or current.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wavvia and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, personal injury, or property damage — arising from your use of the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Wavvia shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or £10 if you have paid nothing).

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka, unless you are a consumer in another jurisdiction where mandatory local consumer protection laws apply.
