How to get to Santorini
Fly from Athens (~45 min) or take the ferry (high-speed ~5h, regular ~8h). Book flights and ferries well ahead in summer — Santorini is one of Greece’s busiest islands.
Best time to visit
May–June and September–October: warm, calmer and cheaper than the July–August peak, when Oia is shoulder-to-shoulder and prices soar.
