The best time to visit Amsterdam

Amsterdam is loveliest from April to September — mild, long-dayed and made for the canals and cafés. April brings the famous tulips (Keukenhof), and summer is the warmest and busiest. Winter is cold and dark but atmospheric and cheaper, with festive lights.
