🇪🇸 Seville · When to go

The best time to visit Seville

Seville is best in the shoulder seasons — March–May and late September–November — when it’s warm and sunny without the brutal summer heat. Spring is also fiesta season (Semana Santa and the April Feria). Summer is fierce (often 40°C+); winter is mild, quiet and good value.

Best overall

March–May and late September–November — warm, sunny and comfortable.

Best weather

Spring and autumn; winters are mild but cooler, summers extreme.

Fewer crowds

Winter (December–February) and the autumn shoulder, outside the big fiestas.

Lowest prices

Winter (outside Christmas) is cheapest; midsummer also dips because of the heat.

When to avoid

July–August for scorching 40°C+ heat; and note Semana Santa and the April Feria bring crowds and high prices (if wonderful atmosphere).
